Swiss clarinetist Reto Bieri recorded Gregory's composition "Lightshadow-trembling" as the closing number for his solo album with ECM.
Vajda has been appointed Music Director and Conductor of the Huntsville Symphony Orchestra, Alabama, beginning with the 2011-2012 concert season.
New commissions:
Double concerto for two violas and orchestra (Fall 2011 premiere) for Rivka Golani and Peter Barsony.
Piano Solo piece for Canadian pianist Katherine Chi to be recorded on her double CD album.
